Relief Residential Childcare Workers Click to expand position details

Esland are now recruiting for exceptional Residential Childcare Workers to join our fantastic homes on a relief basis.

Eslander’s have a shared vision to be emotionally resilient, supportive leaders who provide accountable yet nurturing direction to each other and the young people we care for.

Purpose of the Post:

  • To provide a supportive and nurturing delivery of residential childcare in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • To lead by example and maintain good professional practices in accordance with the minimum standards for children’s homes.
  • To be held accountable for the safety and wellbeing of our young people, whilst on shift with them.
  • To help create a supportive and positive environment for each young person with particular reference to his or her safety, health and education.
  • To act as a surrogate parent with professional boundaries.

Person Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience of working in a care capacity
  • Due to the nature of this role, you must be 21+ to apply
  • A Full Driving Licence
  • Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check
  • If you have lived or worked abroad for over 1 month – you must provide an official record/certificate/letter – which confirms you have undergone an Overseas (Criminality) check
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude to work is essential, along with strong organisation and communication skills.

Esland are now recruiting for exceptional Residential Childcare Workers to join our fantastic homes in the following locations:

Buxton, Derbyshire

Devizes, Wiltshire

Uttoxeter, Staffordshire

Sittingbourne, Kent

Mapperley, Nottingham

Macclesfield, Cheshire

Shift Pattern: 173 hours per month, with sleep ins required on a rota basis

Salary: £19,000 up to £21,000, dependent on experience and qualifications
