Annadales is a four bedroom home, which caters for children between the ages of 10 and 17 who have Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and/or mild Learning Difficulties. The home is located near to the centre of Stevenage and is ideally situated for ease of access to transport links, schools, leisure facilities and places of worship.
Annadales prides itself on creating a home rather than simply a place to live for the children and young people who reside here. We want the children and young people to feel part of a family unit, and so place great importance on eating meals together, going out on trips together and learning together. We promote individuality and encourage the children and young people to grow into the person they want to be. Furthermore, we believe in longevity of placements so the young people have time to settle in and form positive relationships with each other and the staff team.
Our staff team is comprised of a wonderful group of people from a diverse range of backgrounds. We are proud to be open, honest and caring with our children and young people. Together we have vast experience, and all staff either have already completed, or are working towards, an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care.
As staff, we are all so proud of the home we have created, and we know that our young people love living here.
