Accountable

Through our robust safeguarding processes, we personally and organisationally commit to making a difference. We are accountable and see things through.

Nurturing

Esland is a family. We look after one another, so that we can provide the highest levels of care, support and enabling environments for our children, young people.

Direction

We have high expectations for ourselves and those in our care. We raise the bar high, so that we can lead the way. We are united in our values and vision.

My son is so well supported. The home manager and staff team have worked hard to get to know him and establish positive relationships.

Our Roadmap for Success

Change a Child’s Life for the Better

Innovative therapeutic care and education.

Committed to Giving Back

Paddle Board Challenge

Lee, Sam and Ben from our Esland Adventure north team challenged themselves to Paddle board the entire width of the Scottish mainland, through Loch Eil, Loch Lochy, Loch Oich and finally the 23 mile stretch of Loch Ness.

They raised a total of £2,125 which they donated to Action for Children to support disadvantaged children in the UK at Christmas time.

Mexican Night

We enjoyed a Mexican night at Nightingale House, rewarding positive attitudes and progress. We had lots of food and fun, joining together young people and carers from Swan and Kingfisher.

Big thanks to Jamie and Dani for all your efforts in the cooking - we had mocktails, tacos and enchiladas!

Getting Green

As the warm weather set into 2021, we got the staff and children at Kingfisher House involved in some garden transformation. They planted all kinds of flowers and shrubs to bring the garden to life.

The Esland Gala Dinner

The Esland Gala Dinner, in aid of MySmallHelp Nepal, took place on the 28th October 2017 at Shottle Hall in Derbyshire.

We aimed to raise £1,000 to help complete vital works on a school on the outskirts of Kathmandu - we ended up with a total of £10,235 to donate!
