Regional Finalist- 2021 Great British Care Awards

We’re delighted to announce that J our Registered Manager at Bracken Lodge, has been shortlisted as a Regional Finalist in this year’s Great British Care Awards! Joy has been nominated as Home Care Manager of the Year for the East Midlands.

Joy says of the accolade; “I wasn’t even aware that I had been nominated- let alone shortlisted! I automatically assumed the email had been sent to the wrong person and when my manager read it and confirmed it was for me, I felt completely overwhelmed. I am still not sure who nominated me, but I am truly thankful that they have recognised the journey that my team and I have been on, as I wouldn’t be where I am now without them- and most importantly my Bracken Lodge children.

This year has been an emotional rollercoaster, which has ended beautifully with a fantastic Ofsted result and now this incredible recognition. I can’t wait to see what 2022 brings. Thank you to all of you that have supported my journey.”
