Our Home

Bly House provides care for up to 3 young people aged between 8 and 17 years old, who have emotional and/or behavioural difficulties. This is including, but not exclusively limited to; mild learning disabilities, child sexual exploitation risk factors, sexualised behaviours, non-compliance with education, self-harm, aggression and child criminal exploitation.

Bly House is a large detached property in Staffordshire. It has a gated driveway and a large outdoor space.  We have a greenhouse and an outbuilding that is used for gardening and growing our own vegetables.

The ground floor consists of a utility room, a kitchen, a large dining room and a lounge area. We also have a games room adjoining the lounge area that is used for games nights, gaming and listening to music.  We have a bedroom located downstairs for carers to use.

The first floor has three young people’s bedrooms and a large shared bathroom for the young people. The office and managers office is also located on the first floor.

The home was registered in April 2021 and the team have a wealth of experience in working with children and young people in residential care, schools, foster care, nurseries and secure homes.  We use a PACE informed approach to create a therapeutic environment for the young people in our care and pride ourselves in creating an open and supportive culture amongst carers and young people.  Our young people remain at the center of all that we do and are actively involved in decision making in the home.
