Meadowstile Farm

Meadowstile farm is a detached two-storey farmhouse set back from the road with access to parking at the front of the building.

Our Home

Meadowstile farm has a front garden with a paddock and long driveway. On the ground floor there is a lounge, second lounge, large kitchen/dining room for cooking and baking activities, office, and toilet room. 

On the first floor there is the main bathroom and 3 bedrooms in use of which 1 is carers sleep in bedrooms/office.  Meadowstile farm can look after up to two young people, each young person will have their own room. The first-floor bedrooms share a bathroom with carers whilst the downstairs sleep-in room has an en-suite. Young people will have keys to their own rooms which allows for both privacy and security.  Bedrooms are fully equipped and provide a space to relax and study privately. For safety reasons, carers can gain access to bedrooms and bathrooms if necessary.

Meadowstile provides care for a maximum of 2 young people between 8-17 years old with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and associated complex needs. This is including, but not exclusively limited to; mild learning disabilities, Child Sexual Exploitation risk factors, sexualised behaviours, non-compliance with education, self-harm, aggression and Child Criminal Exploitation. 

The Meadowstile Team

The home is currently rated good by Ofsted. The team were praised for their therapeutic approach to supporting the young people within the home. As a home we pride ourselves in having a strong approach to behaviour support meaning that we are able to avoid restraint as much as possible and only use this as a lost resort. Using this method we are able achieve good results for the young people and create very stable long term placements. We have also been praised for provide good clear communication with stake holders and for making every effort to represent the views wishes and feelings of the young people.
