Small Acres is in a beautiful Rural setting in Lincolnshire surrounded by fields and farmland.
With a 6 acre garden. Small Acres boasts a pond with fish with a lovely cabin with a wood Burner. The Garden also consists of a paddock and Chicken coop and a lovely area to plant a vegetable garden and Den Building. The Home has been tastefully redecorated and has a very homely feel.
Each Childs bedroom has been made child friendly and ready for children to decorate their space how they choose. The home will be able to facilitate three children between the age of 8-18 and depending on the matching process this could be either same sex or mixed.
The home is expecting to have celebrations of all different cultures and religions which will include countries all over the world and and different ways they celebrate their culture. All Children will be offered education within the area specific to their needs and requirements.
The Small Acres Team
All the team at Small Acres have been sourced for their experience and what they can bring to the team this includes team members who have animal care experience a trained staff member who was a chef, another keen gardener all with a love of the outdoors and care experience. All Our senior team hold a level 3 in Children and young people and the Manager of the home also holds a Level 5 in leadership and Management of Children’s residential.
The Local Area of Spalding and Holbeach have a variety of activities, schools and health professionals. The cultural city of Peterborough is a 35-minute drive away and Skegness and Mablethorpe Beach are an hour away.
Activities both in the home and surrounding areas will include Camping, BBQs, Rounders and treasure hunts and within the wider community they will be offered Scouts, Girl Guides, Boxing clubs ,Sports clubs and after school clubs .
All Children will be given a transition to the home which will include meeting the team and other young people within the home with a rigorous Matching to each child.
