The Brambles
The Brambles is in Melton Mowbray and located in a small village called Stathern. We are around a 15/20-minute car journey for health care services and retail.
Our Home
The Brambles is surrounded by country parks, hair salons and places to eat, located both in Melton and Grantham.
The Brambles look after young people aged between 8 and 17 years old and as a home, we take pride in being a nurturing and safe environment for our young people.
The Brambles has adapted over the last year, specialising its services in looking after children of a younger age. The home is located in a safe, rural area with woods located nearby where our young people like to explore and go for walks. The Brambles plans its activities to meet the interests of the children, and due to being in lockdown for much of last year, is making a conscious effort for all of its young people to explore more places, undertake new activities and get out into the wider environment!
The Brambles takes a therapeutic approach to its young people and this is being developed and embedded into the homes culture; as a staff team we put this into practice daily. The home has mixed of females and males on its staff, and the team all have different interests and work well together, ensuring we are promoting positive outcomes for our young people.
