The Moorings is a well-established home, located in a semi-rural village in Kent.
Our Home
Having been here for over 20 years, we are an active part of the local community. The Moorings is close to the glorious Kent countryside, beaches, and is within driving distance of local towns and cities.
We are a 3 bedded home, which separates into 2 sides, with 2 bedrooms, main bathroom, staff room and office on the first floor on one side, and a bedroom, staff room, shower room, games room on the first and second floor of the other side. The main office is on the ground floor, with a large living and dining room being the focus of the home just off the kitchen. There is a small courtyard garden to the rear of the home and a gravel planted garden to the front.

The Moorings Team
We have a team of 8 staff, who are loyal and dedicated to providing the very best care for our young people. The Team have all completed mandatory and PACE training. Our current young people have lived here for over 2 years; both are in fulltime education. They also undertake lots of extracurricular activities, including horseriding, boxing, youth club, air cadets, swimming and the gym.
Due to our location, we are often preferred provider for young people with risks of CCE, CSE who are willing to relocate and be safeguarded by a cohesive adult group.
